Deepika Padukone visited the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. She wore a green Banarasi saree which was gifted to her by her stylist friend Anaita Shroff Adajania.

Deepika Padukone recently visited Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai with her entire family. The actress wore a green gown. Banarasi For her holy journey, she bought a saree which was gifted to her by her friend and stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. The actress looked beautiful in the saree as she sought blessings from the Lord Bappa She is already married to her husband Ranveer Singh before giving birth to her first child.

The saree she is wearing is from the label ‘Banaras Baithak’. The label made an official post on Instagram, stating that the green coloured saree Banarasi Weave is a new take on a century-old sari that features the same colour and pattern. The label also revealed that Anaita bought the first piece she made six months later as a gift for Deepika. The green colour of the sari represents fertility, growth, and prosperity, and hence, it was a perfect fit for the actress.

The brand thanked Anaita on their Instagram story and wrote, “We are grateful to Anaita who bought this vintage revival piece as a gift for the loveliest couple, keeping in mind that green is the colour of fertility and auspicious growth. There are no words to describe the grace shown by Anaita. She ensured that the saree remained untouched by the scissors and remained a symbol of ‘sada-sada’. What more words can describe this joyous couple! Words fail. Only blessings for them!”

Deepika styled her saree with a beautiful look Kundan Earrings and a special bun in her hair, the actress wore no other jewellery and let the saree be the main attraction. She was accompanied by Ranveer, who was in traditional attire. The couple arrived with family members from both their sides.
