Deepak Tijori lost to Shahrukh Khan: All this was very cordial
Deepak Tijori made a significant turn in Shah Rukh Khan’s career, but without doing so, he allowed ‘Bazigar’ to go without regretting or resentment. In a special chat with India today, the actor-director recalled how he first narrated the film to Abbas-Mustan, only to land with SRK.

In a special chat with Today IndiaActor-director Deepak Tijori once made a clear revelation about being associated with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Baazigar’, and let it go without any bitterness.
During the chat, Deepak was asked if he regrets losing from any film. “Yes, I had allowed ‘Baazigar’ to go,” Tijori accepted. He said, “I am a living example of this. Abbas-Mustan was those who were about to direct it. I really heard the film to him, but he avoided and went to Shahrukh,” he said.
Recalling how this was played, ‘Joh Jeeta Wahi Sikandar’ star shared an incident. “Shah and I were friends. He had a VHS cassette of ‘A kiss before A kiss’ in his place. So he waited for me, “he widened.
