Deals: Discounts and cashback offers available on old and new flagships

This week on Amazon you can claim additional discounts at checkout for select phones, with some phones even coming with cashback offers, bringing down the final prices to astonishingly low.

For example, the price of last year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 has dropped to £505. However, you get a £30 discount and £100 cashback at checkout. This brings the final price down to £375 for the 128GB model and £425 for the 256GB model.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE also falls into this category – £450 off, with a £30 discount at checkout and £100 cashback bringing the price of the 128GB model down to £320. Note that this model uses the Exynos 2200, so unless you want a bigger display, we’d go with the regular S23. Note that these offers are valid until July 2.

If you’re looking to buy one of the Samsung Galaxy S24 trio, they don’t have a regular discount, but for all three you can claim £50 off at checkout. Additionally, there’s a £200 cashback deal on the S24 Ultra and S24+, with the smaller S24 getting you £150 cashback.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Watch FE, a budget smartwatch based on the Watch4 40mm. You can buy the Galaxy Watch4 instead – it’s available for just £100 for the 40mm 4G version (sorry, there’s no 44mm Watch available). And if you’re a Prime Student member, you can get £20 off. Of course, the Watch FE is newer and should get software support for a longer period of time.

More phones. The Poco F6 Pro is currently running a modest £50 discount and you can bump it up to £80 at checkout. The vanilla Poco F6 is £40 off and if you go for the 12/512GB variant, there’s an additional £30 off at checkout.

There’s no such offer for the Poco M6 Pro, but the 12/512GB variant is available for just £200. Keep in mind that this is the 4G version of the M6 ​​Pro, but still, that’s a lot of RAM and storage for £200.

Last week we reported that the OnePlus 9 Pro had been slashed to £230. Well, now it’s an even better deal – this 2021 flagship is available for just £170. But as we warned last time, it’s used up all of its OS updates and only has a year of security patches left. However, if you’re running a custom ROM, it’s a great deal. And if not, we’ve got better options this week.

We’re moving on to 2022 with the OnePlus 10T. This phone should have one more OS update (which should be Android 15) and will continue to receive security patches until 2026. This is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone for just £210, which is more powerful than a typical mid-ranger in this price segment.

But the 10T doesn’t have a lot of RAM or storage (8/128GB). The OnePlus 10 Pro is also in the same category in terms of updates – it should get Android 15 as its final update and security patch by 2026. The base 8/128GB variant is £270, but you can get a 12/256GB version for £30 more.
