Deal: Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are $220 off

Right now the Galaxy S24 Trio is $220 off, including various memory options for each model. Let’s take a closer look.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra has Samsung’s best camera and has native support for the S Pen, which ties into some AI features and there’s more to come with new versions of One UI.

The Samsung Galaxy S24+ doesn’t have the Ultra’s camera, but it finally has a QHD+ display and 12GB of RAM, which helps differentiate it from the smaller S24. Both larger models also have UWB support, which means they work better with smart trackers.

The smaller Samsung Galaxy S24 is the cheapest, which means it still starts with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We’d go with 256GB as Samsung will support these phones for 7 years and 128GB is going to be pretty scarce in 2031.

After a lot of leaks, Google is finally going to launch the Pixel 9-series, which means most of the 8-series models are retiring. Except for the Google Pixel 8a, which isn’t getting replaced for a while now. It has a 6.1” 120Hz FHD+ OLED display (GG3) and Tensor G3 and (like the more expensive Galaxys) will be supported for 7 years.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 will only get 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches – not as good as the Pixel, but much better than a typical mid-ranger. It has a larger 6.6-inch display, but uses a slower Exynos 1380 chipset. The positive side is that it has expandable storage. The 5,000mAh battery lasts longer than the Pixel 8a (12:26h vs 11:25h active usage score) and only supports wired charging (at 25W). The 8a is no speed demon, but it offers both wired (18W) and wireless (7.5W).
