Deal: Realme GT 7 Pro price dropped, Redmi Note 14 series launched with some discounts

The Realme GT 7 Pro came with a €200 launch discount in Europe, but the price jumped after that ended. Now with a discount of €180 it is back to almost the same level. This phone gives you early access to Snapdragon 8 Elite performance and comes equipped with premium features like a lightly curved 6.78” LTPO OLED display (1264p+, 120Hz, 10-bit color) and IP68/IP69 rating.

This model doesn’t skimp on the cameras with a 50MP main (1/1.56” sensor, f/1.8 lens with OIS), 50MP 73mm telephoto module (3x magnification, f/2.7 lens with OIS) and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Wide. The battery is 6,500 mAh and (as is standard for the GT series) charging is fast at 120W (13 minutes to 50%, 37 minutes to 100%).

Moving back a generation, there’s the Realme GT 6T. As of last week, its price is €380. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is no match for the elite chips, but it does take on older flagship chips like the 8 Gen 2.

And you still get a high-quality 6.78” LTPO OLED display (1264p+, 120Hz, 10-bit). The battery also supports 120W charging, although its capacity is only 5,500mAh – which is still more than most phones. Some things are dialed back like water resistance (IP64) and cameras – a 50 MP main (with a smaller 1/1.95″ sensor and an f/1.9 lens with OIS), as well as an 8 MP ultra-wide (but not ) tel).

The Redmi Note 14 series arrived in Europe last week, but these are not the same models as the phones called “Redmi Note 14” that are sold in India and China.

And it’s €100 cheaper than the Pro+ (looking at the 12/512GB model).

There is a 4G variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro available, it is powered by the Helio G100 Ultra instead. You save €50, but lose performance. Also, the screen resolution is low (1080p+), as is the water resistance rating (IP64). However, the cameras are basically the same, plus you get expandable storage (a microSD card can replace SIM2), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a larger 5,500mAh battery with the same 45W charging.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G and 5G appear to be closer in price than they actually are as there is currently no discount on the 4G model. If that’s your favorite model, we’d suggest waiting a bit.
