Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are the ultimate on-screen partners. After showcasing their exceptional talents in their 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, they are reuniting for another exciting collaboration, Deadpool & Wolverine, which will be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
The legendary duo, Jackman and Reynolds, will be guest hosting the popular talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, July 24. In addition, their co-star, Emma Corrin, will be joining them, while Orville Peck and Noah Cyrus will be the musical guests.
According to reports, ABC talk show host Jimmy Kimmel began the tradition of taking the summer off from Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2020. This year, during his break, several celebrities including Lamorne Morris, Bowen Yang, and Matt Rogers will appear on the show to keep the show going. In 2020, Kimmel announced that he would be taking a break from hosting “to spend even more time with his family,” according to THR.

Ahead of Deadpool and Wolverine’s release, Hugh Jackman spoke to Deadline at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles and revealed how he and co-star Ryan Reynolds had “high hopes” for the project.
“It’s a risk because we wanted it to exceed our expectations, and both of these characters mean a lot to us,” Jackman said. “Our friendship is one of the most important things in my life. So, we wanted to be as great as we could be.”
