Now, the film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark over the weekend. Deadpool and Wolverine have brought some relief to Indian theatre owners, as apart from Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD and Mona Singh-Sharvari Wagh’s Munjya, no other film of 2024 has managed to pull people to theatres.

The five-day collections of Deadpool and Wolverine are better than the lifetime collections of some big Bollywood films, including Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion (Rs 62.45 crore), Rajkummar Rao’s Shrikant (Rs 50.05 crore) and Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan (Rs 52.29 crore).

The film has crossed the Rs 4,000 crore mark globally. deadline According to reports, till Monday, the film had earned $496.3 million (Rs 4,154 crores) worldwide. After adding Tuesday’s collection, it is expected that the film will cross the $500 million mark.

Deadpool and Wolverine is poised to achieve one of the best opening week performances for a Hollywood release in India, surpassing last year’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, which grossed Rs 83.45 crore in its first seven days. The 2022 film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness grossed Rs 101.49 crore in its opening week.

This week, two big Bollywood films, Janhvi Kapoor’s Uljhan and Ajay Devgn-Tabu’s Aurron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, have released. So, it remains to be seen how Deadpool and Wolverine manage to hold their ground at the ticket counters in their second weekend.
