De De Pyaar De is set to raise Rs 2 crore. Earning around Rs 4 crore on second Saturday. The growth compared to second Friday is around 80 per cent, which is quite good, but the film suffered losses yesterday, with a significant decline compared to Thursday. The film needed little or no decline from Thursday to make respectable earnings, but its earnings fell by 25 percent, killing its chances.
The total box office collection of the film was Rs. Approximately Rs 54 crore nett. The second weekend is headed towards Rs. Approximately Rs 11 crores, which makes a total of Rs. 59 crore nett. From there it is likely to close around Rs. The total gross was Rs 70-75 crore, about 25 percent less than the original De De Pyar De in raw-unadjusted numbers. Adjusted for inflation, that would be closer to half of that movie, which isn’t exactly good.
The film has a genre problem as films in the region have struggled in the post-pandemic era, but even considering this, it could have performed better than its initial debut, but the trend has also been general, which means it also has an appreciation issue. If there’s any consolation, it’s done a little better than other films in the genre in recent times and has done so so far without any of the BOGO offers that almost all films have used to slightly expand their numbers over the past year.
The box office collection of De De Pyaar De 2 in India is as follows:
| Day | net |
|---|---|
| week one | Rupee. 47.75 crores. |
| second friday | Rupee. 2.25 crores. |
| second saturday | Rupee. 4.00 crores. |
| Total | Rupee. 54.00 crores. |
