Danish exhibition kills hungry piglets: "It is criminal"

A rather disturbing art establishment in Denmark caused a social media ruckus, it was discovered that three live piglets would be killed by refusing food and water for the project. According to a report in NY PostThe stimulating exhibition, called “and now U Care”, was developed by artist Marco Avistie, which was opened in the capital of Copenhagen last week.

According to Mr. Evercasy, he is hoping that his art establishment will highlight the cruelty of modern pig production in the Nordic country, where about 25,000 piglets die daily due to poor breeding conditions.

“The Exhibition” and now you care “, asks a simple question: should we see blood flowing under Dennebog before taking responsibility? In actions, Danbrog is converted into a mourning flag from a national symbol – a symbol for millions of pigs that we send for their death annually, with a piglet with a piglet.

“Will we continue to see away – or take responsibility? The exhibition is not just a beauty experience, but a mirror of our own conscience. It emphasizes the action,” it said.

Social media reacts

As the news of the installation went viral, social media users angrily reacted and questioned the moral and moral obligation of the artist.

“What kind of humans will see these poor animals dying slowly? To make a point?” One user said, while another said: “It is disgusting. Right to a point by being equally bad, or worse. Where is the moral wisdom of the artist?”

One third remarked: “It is criminal, and it must be stopped now. Anyone in Copenhagen who can eliminate it and is not complicated.”

The country’s largest and oldest animal welfare organization, Animal Protection Denmark expressed mixed feelings about the installation.

“We fully understand the anger of the artist. But we do not agree that three piglets, three individual living beings should be kept hungry and prevented from drinking until they die of it. It is illegal and it is an animal misuse,” said Birgit Dame, a spokesman of the organization.
