Dalljiet Kaur reminisces about the past, shares pics of matching tattoos with ex Nikhil Patel
Actress Daljeet Kaur, who has confirmed her separation from husband Nikhil Patel, shared pictures of her ‘Take 2’ tattoo and recalled the past when she was ‘lost in fantasy’.
Television actress Daljeet Kaur, who recently separated from her husband Nikhil Patel, has shared the tattoo she got with her husband and is now looking for ideas to redesign it. Daljeet and her estranged husband Nikhil had a public fight, with Daljeet accusing him of having an extramarital affair.
Daljeet and Nikhil had got matching tattoos while they were together. The tattoo read, “Take 2”, which hints at their second chance at love. Daljeet shared a reel on Instagram which had a collage of pictures of her and Nikhil’s tattoos.
Along with it, she wrote, “Second tattoo. A tattoo that represents the power of falling in love again. The power to trust again. The power to leave the country and put it all behind for love and the hope of having a family that Jaden and I so desperately wanted. After nine years, I took this step because I was lost in the fantasy of having a family and all that I was being told to believe (sic).”
Daljit said that ‘Take 2’ was like giving him a second chance. He also said that he got married to make his son realize what it means to be a father. Jaden is Daljit’s son from his first marriage to actor Shalin Bhanot.
In her post, Dalljiet further added, “Now I know there was no such thing as trust and loyalty, love and respect, togetherness and commitment. It was all about numbers from the beginning, and loyalty was never a discussion. Numbers had to be higher, so the change happened quickly! (sic).”
Hinting at Nikhil’s extramarital affair, Daljeet said, “Now I know, while I was being told ‘we will fix it’, a replacement was already being finalised…”
The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actress said that she is open to fun ideas to redesign her tattoo. She said, “To all those who are insisting on redesigning my tattoo. Yes, I am going to do it. Come up with good ideas; we can do something fun and creative so that the healing can finally begin. Looking forward to some fun ideas.”
Dalljiet Kaur married Nikhil Patel on 10 March 2023 in the presence of family and close friends. This was her second marriage; her first marriage was to Shaleen Bhanot but they separated in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence.
