Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much-awaited film Daku Maharaj released in theaters on January 12. The film, directed by Bobby Koli, created immense expectations and fan frenzy, with initial reactions from fans being extremely positive.

One of the X users praised the film and wrote, “#DaakuMaharaj. The entry scene, and going into Stroy, is very well executed. The story line is similar to that of a commercial film. But the script is brilliant. The first half ended with a lot more. And the first 20 minutes of the second half is somewhat of a dud” while another wrote, “So far a very well executed mass entertainer with regular doses of good escapades. The pace slows down here and there but doesn’t bore. The duo of Balayya and Thaman are again on duty with good technical values. Awaiting the second part.”

A third user from Australia echoed similar sentiments and wrote, “Great reaction to the world’s second largest screen @IMAX_Melbourne.”

Balakrishna’s fans are already celebrating Daku Maharaj as another blockbuster in his career. They are drawing comparisons between his role in the film and some of his most iconic performances.

Daku Maharaj stars Bobby Deol as the main antagonist. Others in the cast include Urvashi Rautela, Chandni Chaudhary, Pragya Jaiswal and Shraddha Srinath. The film’s music is composed by S. Thaman, while it is written and directed by Bobby Kolli.
