D55: Sreeleela to star with Dhanush in Rajkumar Periyasamy’s film
The makers of tentatively titled ‘D55’ have announced that Sreeleela has been roped in to star opposite Dhanush in director Rajkumar Periyasamy’s next.
Actor Sreeleela has been cast opposite Dhanush in the upcoming film, tentatively titled D55Under the direction of Rajkumar Periyasamy. This project will be her first collaboration with Dhanush. The announcement was also accompanied by a series of photos of the actor with the team which quickly went viral among fans.

The recently released first-look video, titled The Name Is Cara, gave audiences a glimpse of the tone of the film. The teaser features Dhanush in an intense role, hinting towards a story based on themes of violence and survival.
Production of D55 is currently underway in Mumbai, with filming scheduled to continue until late 2026.
