Do you know about Onion Island? Also known as Awaji Island, this place in Japan is famous for its sweet tasting onions. This is thanks to the island’s sunny climate and fertile volcanic soil. Recently, a social media user posted a video on Instagram giving viewers a detailed glimpse of Onion Island.
“A short distance from Kobe is Awaji Island – the onion paradise of Japan,” she says in the video. One of the major attractions is the Utsunuka Onaruto Bridge Memorial Museum. Additionally, there is a vehicle, a table, and a piano as well as an onion claw machine – all decorated like an onion. “It’s quirky, it’s fun and it’s completely unique… Awaji Island is a must-see,” the woman says.
