Cool faced another steep decline at the Indian box office on Tuesday, collecting about rupees. 100 million. It takes its total gross rupee in India. 248 crores around. The film has grossed another USD 17.50 million (Rs 153 crore) internationally, where the business has fallen in the week, although it is sufficient to take it more than Rs. 400 crores worldwide.
The decline in India from Monday to Tuesday was 25 percent. This is with a 20 percent increase for the Hindi version due to discount day. In South India, the film fell by about 30 percent. The collections are now going to low levels, and they need to be stabilized. First week Rs. 260-263 crores, and even from there, there is no certainty that the film will cross the rupee. 300 crore mark in its full run.

Coulie opened with record-breaking numbers, giving a large-scale extended weekend. The production cost, however, is simply massive, and therefore expectations, given the remarkable track records, which has been established by director Lokesh in recent years. Till Sunday, it was clear that those elevated expectations would not be met, although the film still seemed to be sure to emerge as a big hit.
That is no longer the case. The hit situation now looks suspicious now. Although the gross number is at that level, it required better, much better.
