Cool replaced the fastest Tamil film to hit USD 1 million in North American premiere
The USD emerged as the fastest Kollywood film before the USD 1 million mark in the East-sell of the Bancold, Cooli North American premiere by Sun Pictures. The film is still 11 days away from its release, which is a record in itself.
To be accurate, Cool collected USD 845K according to @6 AM (3 August) by selling more than 32,000 tickets in about 1145 places at 428 places in the US., The total North American East-Book crossed the 975K mark in the morning. By the time of writing the article, it has already crossed a million marks milestones.
Cool crossed all the elder people of Tamil cinema including Leo, The Greatest of All Time, and Ponyin Selvan to create this historical record. This will set a new pre-cell benchmark with a huge gap for the upcoming Tamil release at the US box office.
