Rajinikanth starring Koli was the world’s number one film later this week, which was with US $ 43 million, which placed it ahead of Hollywood film weapon (USD 41 million) and Japanese Anime Jugronot Deman Slair: Infinity Castle (USD 37 million).
Of the USD 44 million global halls, India contributed US $ 26.50 million, while North America added US $ 6.25 million. The film collected 3.75 million USD from the Middle East and US $ 7.50 million from other foreign markets. Finishing second in Singapore and Malaysia, Behind Demon Slair, second place in Singapore and Malaysia, Cool was ranked as the top film in India, UAE and Sri Lanka. Coolie is the fifth Indian and second Tamil film to top the box office chart worldwide. The other four films were before it was Master, RRR, Brahmastra and Animal.
