Cool is ready for a large release at the end of this week. The Tamil film, in the lead role of Rajikanth, has been a concrete discussion among the Hindi audiences, with incredibly talented Nagarjuna, Upendra, Saubin Shahir, Pooja Hegde and Satyaraj. Aamir Khan’s guest appearance is also another reason for the Hindi belt. Cool’s advance booking in Hindi was opened this morning, and the reports are very decent.
Cool sells 5,400 tickets in top national series in Hindi
The director of Lokesh Kanagarj sold more than 5,400 tickets in the top three national series- PVR Inox and Cinepolis- for the early day, in Hindi, according to data from 10 pm (10 August, Sunday). The film is releasing against Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer War 2 in Hindi, which is why it has limited performance. However, unlike all other Tamil films, Cool chose for the 8-week OTT window, resulting in a good release in the multiplex chain.
Due to the clash, the South Movie has lost about 90% single screen for War 2. In addition, it did not get prime shows in national series in North India.
Cool monitored the inauguration of Rs 5 crore in Hindi
Bankerols by Sun Pictures, cool is likely to open a net of Rs 5 crore in Hindi despite a clash and limited screen. However, a lot will depend on its spot booking and walk-in viewers.
Thankfully, the manufacturers have promoted it quite well in Hindi space, which was missing in the previous Tamil release. If the film receives positive words-k-ta, it will grow over the weekend and emerge as a successful enterprise.
Coolie dominates struggle elsewhere
Although the cool may be booking comparatively in the Hindi sector, with a significant difference in international markets, it is dominating the collision everywhere. It will be interesting to see that one of the two huge films is big in its early day at the box office worldwide. For The Anward, both Cool and War 2 are releasing on August 14, 2025 (Thursday).
