A report in Deccan Herald It was suggested that Rajinikanth has taken the biggest payment check of Rs 200 crore for ‘Coolie’. The superstar was getting Rs 150 crore as part of his remuneration, but the fees were revised after spike in advance sales.
While earlier reports suggested that Aamir Khan examined Rs 20 crore for his brief appearance in the film, his close sources have now clarified that the Bollywood superstar did not take a single penny for his role, and accepted ‘Kooli’ with a sheer love and honor for Rajinikanth.
Nagarjuna Akini, who is playing the role of Simon in ‘Cool’, got Rs 10 crore for his performance in the film, while Shruti Haasan received Rs 4 crore.
Actor Satyaraj, known for playing Katappa in the ‘Bahubali’ series, received a remuneration of Rs 5 crore. Kannada star Upendra has investigated Rs 5 crore.
