Actor Sonakshi Sinha opened the release date of her upcoming film ‘Nikita Roy’ about sharing the release date with her all-time favorite actors Kajol. While both films are ready to hit the box office, Sonakshi is not watching it as a competition. In fact, she calls it a moment of pride.

Speaking especially to India today, Sonakshi said, “You know, I am really excited because I love him very much as an actor. He is amazing, and I love to see him on screen.”

The actor revealed that she had already seen the trailer of Kajol’s upcoming film ‘Ma’ and was completely impressed. “I have – it’s amazing, in fact, really good. It’s definitely a film that I am looking forward, and I hope that she is eager to see my film,” she smiled.

Sonakshi said that it would be “fun to watch both films” and insisted that there is enough space for everyone in films. “Yes, it’s having a lot of fun. Honestly, I think even though both films are releasing on the same day, place for everyone,” he said.

He also explained how the box-office clash has become regular in the industry. “This is not the first time two films have collided. Every week, a new film comes out – there are clashes, and it is just part of life and parcel.”

Sonakshi said, “I really feel really proud that our film is releasing with Kajol. She is one of my favorite actors.”

‘Nikita Roy’ starring Sonakshi Sinha and ‘Ma’ starring Kajol is set to release in theaters on 27 June.
