Nothing by CMF is preparing to launch its next budget smartphone, CMF Phone 2 Pro in India later this month. Before its official start, the company has released a small teaser video on social media that gives us a first look at the back panel of the phone. A new texture and design material is being used on the teaser device. While the overall size and layouts look similar to the last year’s CMF phones 1, some small but noticeable designs are twics. A major details seen in the video are a visible screw on the rear panel, which may mean that the new phone will once again support the interchangeable back cover. Nothing CMF has used the phrase “New Finnish” to promote the teaser, suggests that the upcoming device can offer fresh content or surface treatment to give it more premium or unique experience.

Teaser video, shared on officer CMF by nothing account on X (East Twitter), shows the close-up of the back panel. It has a speaker grill at the bottom and a new texture that looks slightly more sophisticated than the previous version. The branding is clearly visible, and the overall design seems to suit the clean, minimum look which is known for CMF. The short six-second video does not reveal much, but the presence of the screw strongly suggests that removable panel feature is to stay here-a design option that gives users more flexibility in terms of optimization.

CMF Phone 2 Pro will be officially launched in India on April 28 at 6:30 pm. The phone will be available to purchase through Flipkart. Along with the phone, CMF is expected to launch three new audio products: CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2A, and CMF Buds 2 Plus. All these will also go on sale through Flipkart after the event.

At the moment, there is no confirmation about whether a regular CMF phone 2 will be announced or if the Pro model is the only version. So far, only the CMF Phone 2 Pro has been teased, so it is likely that the launch will focus only on the Pro variants.

In the context of the price, nothing has been officially done yet, but its current product is going from the limit, it is expected that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will cost less than just Rs 20,000. The original CMF phone 1 was launched for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 15,999. Since the new version has been tagged as “Pro” and nothing has been given the current pricing strategy – where the phone starts from Rs 3A22,999 – it is safe to assume that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will sit around Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000.

While the major specifications have not been officially confirmed, it is expected that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will maintain some of the main features of the phone 1, such as a strong focus on removable back cover and design. The original CMF Phone 1 had a 6.7-inch full-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which was operated by MediaTek Demispress 7300 chipset, and supported 33W fast charging. The upcoming model performance, battery life or some upgrade in camera features may see, but the details are wrapped for now.
