Well, it seems like he wasn’t wrong as the CMF phone has the fastest chipset in its segment.
Although the company has not yet confirmed the price details, tipster Yogesh Brar has claimed that the CMF phone will be available for Rs 15,999 with bank offers. This suggests that the device will be priced under Rs 20,000. The company has confirmed that the CMF Phone 1 will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC. This 5G processor has an 8-core architecture and is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. It will have up to 8GB of RAM.
This device will give tough competition to existing phones priced under Rs 20,000 as many devices come with the less powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC or Dimensity 7050 chip. It is worth noting that the Oppo Reno 12 has been launched with the same chip in Europe and is expected to be priced around Rs 40,000 whenever it is launched in India. In Europe, the same device has been priced at around Rs 44,000.
No other specifications have been revealed about the upcoming CMF phone, except that it has an AMOLED screen. But, the teaser suggests that the device may have a removable back as the video shared by the company shows a screw at the back, which can be removed. The leak suggests that the handset will be available for sale in Black and Orange colours.
The CMF Phone 1 is set to launch in India on July 8 and the event will be live streamed on cmf.tech. Along with the CMF Phone 1, the brand will also launch the Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 devices. A teaser revealed that the earphones will come with a smart dial that will let people control music using the earphones. How exactly this works is unknown right now. The Watch Pro 2 will allow you to create watch faces and customize functions. We will get more clarity about all the products only a few days after their launch in the country.
