The CMF Phone 1 will be released in India soon and no, the Nothing Phone 3 is not coming. The company’s CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the device will launch next year in 2025. This might disappoint fans who have been waiting for the Nothing Phone 2’s successor to upgrade to the next version, but the company has something for users who are looking for a more affordable option.

The CMG Phone 1 is confirmed to launch soon. While the exact launch date is yet to be revealed, the company has confirmed via its social media handles that the CMF phone will also offer users a unique design. This has created a lot of curiosity among users on social media about what the company is preparing. Nothing has shared a teaser image of the Nothing CMF Phone 1, which does not reveal much except that it will have a matte finish and will be made available in two colors – Black and Orange.

There also seems to be a wheel of sorts on the rear panel, which is currently unknown as to what it could be for. We’ll get more clarity on this in the coming days as Nothing will likely post more teasers online. The company says that this phone leverages “Nothing’s innovation and careful attention to design.” “It serves as a great entry point to our entire product ecosystem,” it said.

The CMF Phone 1 will likely be a budget offering from the brand as it has always promoted its CMF series as an affordable option for users who want to try out Nothing products. The original Nothing phone was priced at over Rs 40,000 when it was launched, though the price dropped to around Rs 30,000 a few months after its release. It recently introduced a new series with the Phone 2a, which is aimed at the Rs 25,000 segment. So, the CMF phone could be priced under Rs 20,000. But, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Nothing claims that smartphone brands pay less attention to the low-price segment and fail to offer good products. Along with this, it is also suggested that the CMF Phone 1 will offer better performance than other devices in its segment.
