CMF Phone 1: Leaked specifications, design

The CMF Phone 1 is expected to come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster also says that the display will have uniform and thick bezels. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which will also be used in the Oppo Reno 12 Pro, if the leak is to be believed. Under the hood, we can see a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. Although these details are yet to be confirmed by the brand, we are sure that the company will not bundle a charger with the smartphone.

The leaked image by Gadget Bits shows that the CMF phone will have a plain back panel with no semi-transparent design or texture. There may also be a CMF logo at the back and a dual camera setup, positioned vertically. There may be a small wheel at the bottom, the existence of which is unknown right now. The device may come with a removable back panel, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Tipster Technerd_9 claims to have obtained the key specifications of the CMF phone (1) on X (formerly Twitter), which reveal that the device will come with a polycarbonate back panel. It will also have a vegan leather finish, something that the official teaser also revealed.

CMF Phone 1: Expected price in India

The box price of the device has been leaked online, which is set at Rs 19,999. This suggests that the CMF Phone 1 will likely be priced under Rs 20,000.

Now, let’s take a look at the brand’s portfolio. When the original Nothing phones were launched, they were priced at over Rs 40,000, however, the price dropped to around Rs 30,000 a few months after the release. It recently introduced a new series with the Nothing 2a, which targets the Rs 25,000 segment. So, the CMF phones could be priced under Rs 20,000. But, nothing has been confirmed yet.
