Earlier this month, Nothing confirmed the launch of the first CMF smartphone in India. The brand also confirmed the arrival of two other products alongside it, the CMF Buds Pro 2 and the CMF Watch Pro 2. These devices will make their debut in the Indian markets on July 8. While we are still more than two weeks away from the launch, details about the products have started to surface online. Just recently, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis hinted about the processor details of the phone in a post on X.

In his tweet, Evangelidis wrote that the CMF Phone 1 will be equipped with the “best processor” in its price segment. Rumours previously stated that the CMF Phone 1 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which will also be used by the Oppo Reno 12 Pro if the leaks are to be believed. Talking about the price, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to be cheaper than the Nothing Phone 2a that was launched earlier this year. As far as speculations are concerned, the CMF Phone 1 could be priced under Rs 20,000. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet and we shouldn’t get too excited. The price will be revealed on July 8, when the phone launches.

Talking about other details about the phone, the CMF Phone 1 is confirmed to come with a unique design and a wheel will be seen at the bottom of the rear panel. It will come in a black color model. Other details are yet to be confirmed. As far as rumors are concerned, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster has also said that the display will have uniform and thick bezels.

Under the hood, the phone is likely to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. While these details are yet to be confirmed by the brand, we are sure that the company will not bundle a charger with the smartphone.

An earlier leaked image shared by Gadget Bits revealed that the CMF phone will have a plain back panel with no semi-transparent design or texture. The back may also feature the CMF logo and a dual camera setup, positioned vertically. There may be a small wheel at the bottom, the existence of which is currently unknown. The device may also come with a removable back panel.

Tipster Technerd_9 has claimed to have obtained the key specifications of the CMF Phone (1) on X, saying that the device will come with a polycarbonate back panel. It may also have a vegan leather finish, something that the official teaser also revealed.
