CMF Phone 1 will launch in India on July 8 and ahead of the official event, price details of Nothing’s first budget phone have leaked online. Tipster Yogesh Brar has claimed that he has got the price of the upcoming CMF phone, including bank discount offers. The leak suggests that Nothing’s first CMF phone will be priced under Rs 20,000, which was expected as CMF is a budget phone from the company. Here are the details.

CMF Phone 1 can be launched in India at a discounted price of Rs 15,999 with bank cards. This will be for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. According to the tipster, there will also be a second model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, which will be priced at Rs 17,999 after bank discount. The exact retail price details are still secret.

While the company is yet to confirm the specifications of the CMF Phone 1, the tipster claims to have received the key specifications of the device. As per the cited source, the upcoming CMF Phone by Nothing will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED and it will operate at a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. If this turns out to be true, the device could give tough competition to existing phones priced under Rs 20,000 as many devices come with the less powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC or the Dimensity 7020 chip. Nothing can also have a microSD card slot, which will allow people to increase the internal storage up to 2TB. The CMF Phone 1 can also have a dual rear camera setup, which can include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a depth sensor. There can be a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It is being said that it can also have an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

The device may feature a 5,000mAh battery seen in many mid-range phones and is likely to have 33W fast charging support. While they haven’t mentioned the charger, we know for sure that the company won’t bundle it as it hasn’t done so with premium phones either. Lastly, the CMF phone is running on the current Android 14 OS. At the moment, there is no information on how many years it will get Android software updates.
