CMF Phone 1 price in India announced

The CMF Phone 1 is priced at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. There is also an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant that costs Rs 17,999. The device will be sold via Flipkart. As part of the launch, one will be able to buy the CMF Phone at a discounted price of Rs 14,999 with select bank cards. However, this is a limited period offer.

Nothing is selling accessories separately. These include a lanyard, a stand, and a card holder, each priced at Rs 799. The removable back cover will be available in different colours, including blue, black, orange, and light green, each priced at Rs 1,499. The company is saying that people can buy the phone charger for Rs 799, which is an offer for those who buy the CMF phone.

CMF Phone 1: Specifications, features

The CMF Phone 1 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 700nits of normal brightness, and a peak brightness of 2000nits. It has a punch-hole display design, just like other phones in the market. The device has a removable back cover design. The company says that those who want a new refreshing look every few months can simply change the back cover instead of buying a new device or resorting to different cases. The back cover, which is sold separately, comes with a screwdriver that lets you remove the back panel of the device.

Lastly, the functionality of the wheel is also revealed. No, it doesn’t spin for fidgeting and instead, you can attach a lanyard or a small stand to it which Nothing is selling separately. It is also offering a card holder accessory that attaches to the wheel as well. The concept is nice. It is good to see that Nothing is offering a unique design in the low range, where it is almost impossible to see innovative devices. The device has a plastic body and the back panel is available in both matte and leather finish.

The recently launched CMF Phone 1 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. Nothing is promising to deliver 2 years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches. The device is currently running on Android 14 and this announcement means that the CMF Phone will also be eligible to receive Android 16 OS. For biometrics, Nothing has offered an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is better than having a side-mounted sensor.

Under the hood, there is a typical 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The charger is not bundled in the retail box with the smartphone. So, it has to be purchased separately. For photography, there is a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
