Prime Video launched the teaser of ‘Citadel Honey Bunny’ on August 1. Raj and DK’s spy thriller stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha in the lead roles. Apart from the teaser, the makers have announced the premiere date of the series as November 7.

The makers have released an intriguing teaser, showcasing the true non-stop action, impeccable performances and visual scale of the new series, which will take the audience on a rollercoaster ride when it releases this November.

The story of ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ is interesting It blends the thrilling elements of a spy action-thriller with the heart-warming charm of a love story, set against the vibrant backdrop of the 90s.

Apart from Varun and Samantha, the teaser also gives a glimpse of the star cast including Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumder, Shivankit Parihar and Kashvi Majumder.

The first season of ‘Citadel’, starring Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville alongside Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, premiered worldwide to widespread acclaim in 2023. It became Prime Video’s second most-watched new original series outside the US and the fourth most-watched series worldwide within 24 days of release.

The Italian original, ‘Citadel: Diana’, is the second series starting from the world of Citadel (launching on October 10, 2024) and will be followed by the Indian series, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha on November 7, 2024. Season two of “Citadel,” starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, will begin production this year, with Joe Russo as director.
