Director Srikanth Odela shot to fame after his debut film Dussehra with Nani became a hit. As the director gears up to collaborate with Chiranjeevi, the filmmaker details his reaction on working with the megastar.
In a conversation with Hyderabad Times, Srikanth Odela explained how he would only see the megastar as a character in his film and said, “I am a fan only until Chiranjeevi Garun comes out of his caravan. Once he does that, he becomes a character in my film. I have grown up watching Chiranjeevi garu’s films and I can’t believe that I am working with him. We finalized the script within 48 hours,” highlighting how he was on cloud nine.
Additionally, the director said that his film with Chiranjeevi will be different for the actor and will not feature any of the megastar’s old characteristics. Also, the film will show her in a fresh and age-appropriate avatar.
Director Srikanth Odela’s collaboration with megastar Chiranjeevi was earlier announced for December 2024. The official announcement of the film was made by Nani through his social media handles as he was presenting the film.
The Natural star’s official post also included a caption that read, “I grew up inspired by her. I stood in lines for hours every time. I lost my bicycle. I convinced him. Now let me present it. It’s a full circle,” It would be a complete madness to highlight that we have been waiting to see the megastar.
