Chhawa Box Office Day 19: Did Vicky Kaushal’s film beat Gadar 2 and Pathan?
Playing Vicky Kaushal and Rashamika Mandanna, ‘Chhawa’ entered the box office in its third week. The film keeps earning well, especially during the weekend. However, will it cross the benchmark of Rs 500 crore?
‘Chhawa’ has emerged as the biggest Hindi film ever. Vicky Kaushal-Starr is running at the box office in its third week and is showing tremendous traction during the weekend.
After 19 days, the period drama about the life and valor of the Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji collected a network of Rs 471.9 crore in India. Although it has overcome the choice of Hindi films ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017), ‘PK’ (2014) and ‘Sanju’ (2014), it is still near the benchmark set by Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ (2023) (2023) (2023) and Shah Rukha Khan’s ‘Patha’ (2023).
‘Chhawa’ has shown a strong bridge among the audience from the beginning. On its third Saturday, it collected a network of Rs 22 crore, and on the third Sunday recorded an increase with a net of Rs 24.25 crore.

‘Chhawa’ is currently running unwanted at the box office. Any of the new release, including ‘my husband’s bavi’ or ‘Superboy of Malegaon’, is capable of stopping its smooth run. And if this case remains, if ‘Chhawa’ continues to enjoy this clear window in theaters, it has all the ability to go through ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathan’.
However, it is still unlikely to defeat the ‘animal’ (2023). Ranbir Kapoor starrer collected a route of Rs 553.87 crore by the end of his run at the box office. This is the third highest grossing Bollywood film ever. The ‘Chhawa’ is currently at the sixth position, and as mentioned earlier, it can crawl to the fourth position, but the conditions are applied.

‘Chhawa’ is Vicky Kaushal’s first film in a club of Rs 400 crore. If and when it crosses a benchmark of Rs 500 crore, it will create a new record for the actor, and achieved his second film after ‘Stri 2’ for Madock films.
Apart from Kaushal, the film has impressed the audience with his powerful performance in the form of Akshaye Khanna and Wainet Kumar Sinning, and Kavi Kalash respectively. Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana and Diana Penty appear in other important roles. The film was released in theaters on 14 February.
