Noyb, a digital rights organization that brought the complaint from Holmen, claims that the response is in violation of European data security rules around the accuracy of personal data.
Additionally, NYOB said that Mr. Holmen discovered several times that day, including entering his brother’s name in the chatbot, resulting in “many different stories that were wrong.”
Noyb lawyer Jokim Soderberg said, “You can’t just spread false information and finally add a small disclaimer saying that whatever you have said can not just be true.”
