Charlize Theron’s children are not his fans! On Thursday, 8 May, the actress appeared in Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her upcoming film, The Old Guard 2. The Oscar winning actress revealed that her daughters Jackson, 12 and August, are not influenced by her stardom.
“My children have zero respect for me,” he told host Jimmy Kimmel. The Mad Max: Fury Road actress quipped that she is humble, but at a time, she would have to remind her children of her achievements.
“There is an F —— Oscar is there.” They are not very impressed with me, “she said. The atomic fair actress, who adopted her daughter Jackson in 2012 and her second daughter in August 2015 shared a wise anecdote.
Theron revealed that he had complicated stunt sequences in his latest film, including jumping a “real” helicopter. “Shooting 99% on a real helicopter as it is trying to shake me like a raga doll,” he missed.
The Monster actress recalled that the sequence took 2 weeks to complete and she felt “amazing” at the achievement. However, his children found another actor’s stunt more attractive, and this is none other than Tom Cruise.
While running a home from her dance class to her youngest daughter, she crossed a new mission: impossible poster where the cruise “hanged on some yellow aircraft” and looked calm.
“It’s strange, he looks great as you did when you were hanging from the helicopter,” Theron recalled his youngest daughter’s response. Hearing the story, the audience said laughing.
