Charli “I have to say that ‘Brat Summer’ has been a crazy experience. Many people have asked me, ‘What is a child?’ And honestly, it’s just like an attitude. It’s a vibe,” Charlie said in his monologue on the Nov. 16 episode of the comedy sketch series.
He also explained the meaning of brat with examples. In Stewart’s recent documentary, he berates a journalist over an old magazine article and expresses relief that the journalist is no longer alive. “He’s a kid,” the 360 singer said. “And then last Friday, when that same reporter responded and said, ‘Hey, I’m alive, bitch!’ “That’s too bad,” Charlie said.
In response to Stewart’s comment, Payer wrote a lengthy article dedicated to Stewart and opened her note with a fiery statement reading, “I’m alive, bitch! Even if the domestic dominatrix thinks she has finished me.”
In the interior designer’s new Netflix documentary Martha, she opens up about her 2004 insider trading trial and claims it was Payer who reported the situation to Manhattan federal court. “The lady from the New York Post was there, looking very smug,” the 83-year-old businesswoman recalls in her documentary.
“He wrote terrible things throughout the trial. But now she is dead, thank God. And no one would have to put up with the nonsense she was writing all the time,” she added. Following Stewart’s comment that he was glad the journalist was now dead, Payer wrote a retraction article.
The reporter claimed that Stewart and “his insider tipping stockbroker Peter Bacanovic” had been convicted of securities fraud and lied to federal investigators, yet his attention was not to himself, his family or his employee’s favor. It was not about saving, but only about targeting the pair. “He has focused his anger on me,” the reporter said.
Peyser continued to bash the interior designer, calling him petty, disrespectful, “obsessive-compulsive” and “so mean.” At the Philadelphia Conference for Women on November 14, Stewart bitterly acknowledged the journalist’s recent revelations and joked that it would help her documentary get more views.
