Chapelle Rhone continues to lead the brand in ranking its iconic, headline-grabbing dresses of 2024. She didn’t forget to add a touch of humor while listing her top 10 looks. Good luck, babe! The hitmaker capped off a memorable 2024 with a countdown of her favorite fashion moments of the year. The 26-year-old shared a gallery of Instagram photos on December 30, showcasing her extraordinary looks and calling the selections a celebration of her personal style and creative nature.
She captioned the post, “This is my opinion!!!!! + Why yes, I consider myself respectable.” At No. 10 on her list is her look from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on February 15, followed by her Lucha Libre outfit from Lollapalooza at No. 9. Roan’s distinctive style draws much inspiration from drag culture, but also horror, burlesque and theatre. In June, she visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in her eighth most stylish look of the year.
Roan described her style as combining beauty with unusual elements: often combining great with edgy, or purposeful handling. While fans may think there may be a very deep meaning behind what she wears, Roan admitted that sometimes she has a lot of these just because she feels very creative and confident. She told Fallon, “I like to look pretty and scary. Or, like, pretty and clingy. Or not pretty at all. I like that too.”
His selected outfit, which came in fourth place, brought mixed feelings, not for the design but for the circumstances with which it came. Roan went full medieval glam at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, wearing a flowing sheer gown.

However, the evening was not smooth sailing at all. At one point during the show, Roan got into a brief altercation with a rude photographer who shoved him. Video clips of the altercation went viral online, earning Roan more praise than negativity as she confidently silenced the heckler by saying, “Don’t. Not me, bitch!”
The Red Wine Supernova singer jokingly added “trigger” in parathesis over the photo in her post.
Chappelle Rhone’s favorite look of 2024 was her Statue of Liberty-inspired dress for the Governors Ball. She was wearing a crown on her head, green body paint and a matching tube top and skirt. During her performance, she used the symbolism of the Statue of Liberty to relate freedom, equality and justice for marginalized groups in the world such as women, transgender and oppressed communities.
