In the video, the couple is seen walking along the beach when a huge wave crashes on them. They are seen standing and holding each other while the waves crash on them.
Next, the ocean waves are seen knocking the couple down. Then another huge wave crashes on both of them. But, while the man is pushed towards the shore, the woman ends up in the ocean.
The video shows the man desperately searching for the woman, and even wading through the turbulent waters, but to no avail.
The missing woman has not been traced yet.
According to the Daily Guardian, the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Brigade said the search for the woman had not yet yielded any results, but efforts were ongoing.
