Buzz: Is Pooja Hegde Rajinikanth likely to play a dance number in cool?

Cool, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, is gearing up for its release this year, in which there is continuous progress in shooting. Now, it seems that the upcoming film can facilitate a dance number by actress Pooja Hegde, directed by Lokesh Kanagarj.

According to a report by Valai Pichu, Rajinikanth-Starr Cool contains a song characterized by the actress’s dance with a superstar. However, so far, nothing has been confirmed by the manufacturers, and this speculation remains.

Interestingly, Cool is making online waves after the report is revealed after suggesting a possible adjournment from its initial release date. Earlier, several reports indicated that the producers were planning to release the film in May 2025. However, recent rumors suggest that it can now hit a large screen in August 2025.

Despite making these claims online, the manufacturers have not yet finalized the release date for the film.

Speaking of Cool, the upcoming cinematic venture directed by Lokesh Kanagarj is considered a high-octane action film. The film is estimated to show superstar in a character with negative colors.

In addition, the film claims an actors’ contingent, including Nagarjuna Akini, Upendra Rao, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj, Saubin Shahir and many other actors in many other lead roles. Additionally, Pinkvilla had specially stated that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will make a cameo appearance in the film.

Regarding the fronts of the actors, Rajinikanth was last seen in Vettyian, where he played the lead role. Directed by TJ Gyanwell, the action drama infams him as an IPS officer to be an encounter expert. After the murder of an acquaintance, the officer is assigned to investigate, only to kill the wrong person. The rest of the film follows his visit to highlight the true criminal.

On the other hand, Pooja Hegde is set to play the lead role in the film Retro directed by Karthik Subbej. The film starring Suriya is seen as an action-romance flick and is scheduled to release on 1 May 2025.
