Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata passed away on Wednesday (October 9) due to age-related complications. The industrialist served as the Chairman of Tata Group Group twice, from 1991 to 2012 and again from 2016 to 2017. He continued to lead the company’s charity trust despite stepping back from the daily operations of the organization. As soon as the news of his demise came, tributes started coming from everywhere. Popular dairy brand Amul also paid tribute to the icon. Known for its event-appropriate themes, Amul paid tribute to Ratan Tata by posting a special illustration of the business tycoon on its Instagram handle.

The black and white photograph shows Ratan Tata sitting on a chair holding a pile of papers. Shantanu Naidu, general manager of Ratan Tata’s office and the youngest trusted aide of the industrialist, was seen cycling beside him. The post reads, “The gem of the entire country.
