Bulk deal: Goldman Sachs cuts stake in Manappuram Finance; CLSA offloads shares of Suntech Realty

Manappuram Finance did the wholesale deal on Thursday, with existing investor Goldman Sachs putting in around Rs. 190 crore worth 65.27 lakh shares were sold. The shares were picked up by Morgan Stanley. In a separate transaction, CLSA bought Suntech Realty for Rs. 269 ​​crore offloaded 71.61 lakh shares, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley emerging as buyers.

Manappuram Finance Bulk Deal

Goldman Sachs closed on BSE on Wednesday at Rs. 291.65 equivalent to Rs. 291 shares were sold. Shares of Manappuram Finance today Rs. ended with a gain of 1.8% at 296.80.

Goldman Sachs through its affiliate Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE holds 1.53% equity for 1.29 crore shares.

The Goldman Sachs share sale comes on the heels of a strong rally in the stock, which has seen a 55% jump over the past 12 months. This is a significant outperformance over the benchmark Nifty and BSE Sensex, which have returned 11% and 9% respectively over the same period.

According to Trendlyne data, the shares are currently trading at Rs. 293 and Rs. It is trading above its 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages (SMA) of 271.

Suntech Realty

Hong Kong-based financial services company CLSA Global Markets Pte Ltd – holds 76.20 lakh shares in the company through ODI. This represents a stake of 5.20% as on December 31, 2025.

In today’s bulk trade, the shares traded at Rs. 375.10 per share was sold.

Shares of Suntech Realty today traded at Rs. 13.70 or 3.65% to Rs. closed at 388.80.

The buyers were Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) PTE. While the former bought more than 36.52 lakh shares, the latter bought 35.09 lakh shares.

Shares of Suntech Realty have fallen 18% over the past 12 months. According to Trendlyne data, they are respectively Rs. 409 and Rs. are trading below their 50-day and 200-day SMAs of 419.
