BTS member Suga was involved in a drunk driving case. A new CCTV footage released by Donga Ilbo confirmed that Suga was involved in a scooter accident near the Nine One Hannam apartment building on August 6.

However, contrary to initial reports, the footage shows Suga cycling on the sidewalk. Initial reports also claimed that the police found the rapper lying alone on the ground. But in the footage, the musician can be seen getting up immediately after falling off his scooter.

Now on August 15, HYBE has denied the news and rumors of Suga leaving BTS. HYBE’s representative spoke to a source and said, ‘The news of Suga leaving BTS is nonsense. We will apologize and work hard to resolve the conflict between fans.’

The incident happened last week when Suga was returning home drunk on his electric scooter. Police said the rapper was found lying on the ground alone after falling off the scooter in Seoul’s Yongsan district.

Suga and BigHit Music apologized to fans on Weverse the next day. Police launched a criminal investigation, and Suga’s blood alcohol content was found to be 0.227 percent, eight times the legal limit. The 31-year-old rapper is serving as a social service agent, an alternative form of military service in South Korea.
