BTS to release posthumous collaboration ‘White Christmas’ with Bing Crosby
BTS member V is set to team up with the late Bing Crosby to release a new version of White Christmas on December 6. It is Crosby’s first posthumous project in nearly 50 years.
On December 6, BTS members will release a new version of V White Christmas, made in collaboration with the late legendary singer Bing Crosby, who died in 1977.
According to BigHit Music, Vee, known for his distinctive baritone voice, has reinterpreted part of Crosby’s iconic 1942 hit for a fresh take on the seasonal classic.

The project marks Bing Crosby’s first posthumous collaboration in nearly five decades; Her last memorable 1977 duet Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy was with David Bowie.
Produced in partnership with the Crosby estate, Primary Wave Music and Geffen Records, the song is expected to feature a unique blend of both artists’ styles while honoring Crosby’s timeless legacy.
This project holds personal significance for V. “I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to join in on a song with my all-time favorite jazz artist, Bing Crosby,” he shared in a statement on November 7.
He also said, “I grew up listening to his song It’s Been a Long, Long Time countless times a day, and I feel incredibly lucky and honored to sing it on White Christmas in the voice of someone who Whom I consider my role model.”
This track will be released on 6 December 2024.
