K-pop sensation BTS is gearing up to celebrate its 11th anniversary, also known as Festa. South Korea’s Seoul has been painted purple to mark this important milestone. This is the second Festa without OT7 – BTS members V, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope, RM and Suga, who are currently serving their mandatory military duties. However, before that, BTS’ oldest member Jin will be back.
Ahead of the anniversary, Jungkook released a solo ‘Never Let Go’, which is a love letter to fans, also known as ARMY. BTS leader RM released a music video to the song ‘Credit Roll’, a track from his latest solo album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’. The track was released on June 10, 2024 at midnight (KST). ‘Credit Roll’ expresses gratitude to listeners for their time and asks if they would like to stay.
Along with this, Jin’s homecoming on June 11/12 and the group’s 11th anniversary on June 13, 2024 promise a double celebration for fans. Jin will also be holding his first Weverse Live in 18 months as he celebrates his comeback. An update on this was shared by BigHit Music. The statement read, “To mark the 2024 FESTA, you are cordially invited to a special Weverse Live event on June 13, 2024 with a special message from Jin!”
