BTS’ Kim Namjoon aka RM has shared a heartwarming note on Weverse. The boy band’s vocalist poured his heart out to ARMY in the post, talking about his life in the army, being able to reunite with the other band members after a long time and thanked ARMY for remembering and loving him every day. He also shared more photos from BTS Festa 2024, leaving all fans excited.

Namjoon last released ‘Right Place Wrong Person’, which came out three weeks ago. Opening up about it, he wrote, “This is my first work where I haven’t been able to share my thoughts in person. There’s so much I want to say, but it’s all written in the album… It’s just an album where I struggled to be honest with myself. I hope you’ll read it over and over for a long time.”

He continued, “Three days ago, Jin was finally discharged from the military. I brought a saxophone to play for fun, but really, I had mixed feelings. I wonder if it was very lonely and difficult to leave at first… What would it be like? A year and six months is reasonable for everyone here… It’s been a while since I left, and as expected, time passes differently outside. The gravity feels a little different… Everyone is doing well despite my absence. Everything is going well. It felt like a waste of time, but more than anything, it felt good to get together with all the members for the first time in a long time, have a drink, and talk openly (even if more than half of it was about the military…lol). I think it’s been about ten months. Why did I miss these guys so much? I would often call them and ask how they are.”

“Jin always talked about it. I miss the members so much. I’m sure you do too. Now that I’m scattered and living somewhere in Gangwon-do, I understand deeply. When I actually met them face-to-face and talked to them, I realized again that those things never change, the place I had to return to, and what kind of person I was. It was a meaningful and precious time for all of us,” he said.

He concluded by writing, “What will everyone’s faces be like on our 12th anniversary next year? I miss it and I miss drawing it again. It’s been eleven years. It’s just another year that we look forward to. First of all, I would like to ask Jin and Hobi, who are in your arms, to take care of the rest. I just realized that many people still haven’t forgotten us and are waiting for us and loving us. As always, I will just think of the members and make every day a good one. I love you. Thank you. Looking forward to the beginning of summer next year (sic).”

RM also posted some photos from the festa, which sent ARMY into a tizzy. The post reads:

It is being said that BTS will resume their band activities in 2025, and RM has just given the biggest hint about this. BTS Festa 2024 was celebrated on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the boy band. All the members also took a break from the army, and Jin was discharged from the army.
