BTS’ J-Hope buys 2 luxury apartments worth Rs 125 crore in Seoul: Report
BTS member J-Hope has made a significant real estate investment by purchasing two luxury apartments in Seoul for around Rs 125 crore.

In a significant move, BTS member Jung Ho-seok or J-Hope has reportedly purchased two luxury apartments in Seoul, South Korea, worth a combined price of around Rs 125 crore (12 billion KRW or roughly USD 9 million). BizhankookThe globally renowned artist made the purchase entirely in cash, giving him both properties in the prestigious Seobingso-dong neighborhood, located in Seoul’s Yongsan district.
The first property, a penthouse, was purchased for 12 billion KRW, while the second apartment, just below the penthouse, was purchased shortly after. The report states that J-Hope signed the contract for the second unit on June 23, 2020, and completed the payment on July 26, 2024, finalizing the transaction while serving in the military.
Currently, the market value of these properties is estimated to be between 11 and 12 billion KRW (approximately Rs. 91 to 100 crores). The plush Seobingso-dong neighborhood is known for housing high-profile celebrities, further cementing J-Hope’s status not only as a global superstar but also as a savvy investor in one of Seoul’s most prestigious residential areas.

J-Hope, who enlists in the military in April 2023, Currently working as an instructor at Bakho Recruit Training Centre under the 36th Infantry Division. He gained attention earlier this year when he received a promotion to the rank of corporal two months early. The BTS star is expected to complete his service and be discharged by October 17, 2024.
