The ongoing feud between the Beckham family’s eldest son, Brooklyn, and his parents, the famous couple David and Victoria, shows no signs of ending. On March 4, 2026, the two posted Instagram Stories celebrating their son’s 27th birthday, publicly wishing him well and sharing childhood photos with him. However, the aspiring chef was not impressed by their olive branches and was said to have felt ‘disappointed’ instead.
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham wish son Brooklyn a happy birthday
“Twenty-seven today,” the former footballer wrote on his Instagram along with teary eyes and white heart emojis. “Happy birthday Bast, we love you,” he said. Meanwhile, her mother wrote, “Happy Birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.” (red heart emoji), along with an old photo of him.
While normally, the Beckham children, like anyone else, would be celebrating their parents’ love, that’s not the case for Brooklyn Beckham, who felt ‘let down’ by her people’s warm messages. As a source told Entertainment Tonight, he was very happy because it seemed like it was just a show rather than something real. The insider said, “These are exactly the type of demonstrative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.” Neither party has responded directly to the post or the photographer’s alleged feelings about them.
Meanwhile, none of Beckham’s other children, Cruz, Romeo or Harper Seven, wished their big brother a happy 27th birthday on Instagram amid reportedly growing tension between them.
The feud reportedly stems from Brooklyn’s accusations of her parents controlling her life and pushing the Beckham brand storyline. His problems stem from his mother dancing ‘inappropriately’ on him on his wedding day, upsetting his wife. He also went on a 6-page rant on his Instagram accusing her of being difficult during their wedding planning and trying to drive a wedge between him and Nicola Peltz.
