Brahmagam of Mammuti became a case study at UK Film School for his sound design
The Instagram story of a student shows that the Malayalam horror thriller Brahmagam is now part of the course for the university, the course for the UK, with the faculty analyzing his sound design with the faculty and comparing it to the Harry Potter.

Malayalam horror-thriller Brahmagam, starring Mammuti, has found a place in the university course for Creative Arts of Britain. A video shared by a student on Instagram features faculty members to analyze the sound design of the film and show similarities with Hollywood’s Harry Potter Series. The post quickly went viral, in which fans celebrated the international recognition of the film.

In the video specific scenes are a wide breakdown of the soundscape of Brahmagam, which highlights its role in the manufacture of stress and increases the terrible environment. The film, which was praised during its dramatic release for its technical quality, scenes and sound design, referred to the same aspects to excited fans when he saw and referred to international aspects.
Adding enthusiasm, director Rahul Sadashivan, actor Arjun Ashokan, and composer Christo Xavier shared the video on their Instagram stories, expressing their gratitude for the global reach of the film.

Released in February 2024, Brahmagam earned more than Rs 95 crore during his dramatic run and received praise for his innovative use of sounds and scenes in horror storytelling.
Speaking first at the trailer launch, Mammooty urged the audience not to make a perception about the story. He said, “While the trailer can give rise to various ideas, I urge you not to jump to the conclusion of the story. I am saying that you are not disappointed,” he said.

Directed by Rahul Sadashivan, Brahmagam also includes Arjun Ashokan, Siddharth Bharat and Amalda Liz. The film shot in Black and White was made on a grand scale in Kochi and Otapalam, which combines folklore and fantasy to create a sata cinematic experience. The film is currently streaming on Soniliv.
