BPCL partners with Bluej aerospace
BPCL has partnered with new and renewable Energy Raza Research and Technology (ANERT), and Cochin International Airport Limited for the establishment of the world’s first hydrogen-powered Vertical Tech-and F-Landing (VTOL) Aviation Ecosystem.
“In significant progress in Sustainable Aviation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has entered the Kerala government, and the Government of Cochin International Airport (CIL), with new and renewable Energy Raza Research and Technology (ANRT), and Memorizon, and Memorial. Cochin International Airport (CIL), First Hydrogen, CIL), and Cochin International Aerospulation (CIL), and Cochin International Aerospulation (CIL), and Cochin International Airport (CIL), and Cochin International Airport (CIL), and Cochin International Airport (COL).
This initiative arranges with India’s net-zero emissions target and aims to revolutionize urban and regional air mobility using hydrogen-fuel VTOL aircraft. BPCL will play a crucial role by establishing hydrogen refueling stations in Kochi and Trivandrum, strengthening India’s hydrogen infrastructure.

Collaboration with KPIT Technologies
In a strategic move to promote hydrogen -based transport, BPCL has signed MoUs with KPIT technologies to introduce hydrogen fuel cell electric buses between Kochi and Trivandrum.
“Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has entered the Memorandum Undersp F -F -FoAs (MoU) with KPIT technologies during the global hydrogen and renewable ENERGY Raza Summit in Kochi to promote hydrogen -based mobility initiatives in Kerala.
This initiative, part of India’s national green hydrogen mission, will set up hydrogen refueling stations to support pilot projects in Kerala. This project will provide valuable real-world insights in hydrogen mobility, helping BPCL to increase its capabilities in clean ENERGY minimum solutions.
BPCL launches the “Emerge” mass
BPCL has introduced a “emerge” set under its BPCL shoots fund, which aims to support startups in the fields of ENERGY Zeja Efficiency and City Gas Distribution (CGD). The program wants to invest in early -stage startups with proven concepts, helping to execute technological advances in the oil and gas sector.
Under this initiative, the selected startups will get Rs. 5 crore investments can be received, which strengthens BPCL commitment to durability and innovation in the ENERGY area.
Since its launch in 2016, BPCL has supported 30 startups with its startup initiative ‘Ankur’ with a grant of about Rs 28 crore, the company said.
