War 2, Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Junior NTR starring, are releasing in theaters on August 14. The film is watching good advance booking in its domestic turf against Rajinikanth starrer Cooli, which is releasing on the same day.
War 2 leads advance booking in Hindi with a good difference
As at 3.30 pm (12 August), Ayan Mukherjee’s director has sold over 67,000 tickets in the top three national series- PVR Inox and Cinepolis. On the other hand, Cool has recorded around 14,000 admissions in the sale of Hindi photographs. The Hrithik-NTR film has maintained a good lead of 53,000 tickets on the cool, indicating a clear domination in the Hindi belt.
War 2 will be the top preference for Hindi audience at the end of this week, as reflected in pre-booking. In addition, the YRF film has a detailed screen count in North India compared to the Tamil-origin film, which is also benefiting it on a large scale. Ideally, there is no clash between war 2 and porter in Hindi regions. However, Coolie is doing well as a standalone film. Despite a limited screen count, the dubbed film is experiencing quite good advance booking, pointing at an encouraging opening.
War 2 and cool can coexist together; Good weekend for cinema-swing audience
According to the current trends, Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagarj’s cool is likely to make the second biggest start in Hindi for the Tamil film. This is a completely different audience catering compared to War 2, which means that both films can be well coexisting and Independence Day can make weekend a memorable experience for cinematic audiences.
Talking about the early day, War 2 in Hindi is to debut with 5 to 6 times more than cool. Since 14 August is a non-hectic, both films are expected to jump on a large scale in the weekend, with the ability to record their biggest business days on 15 August (Friday, National Holiday) and 17 August (Sunday). The rest of the people will be decided how the audience reacts to both films and how the word-mouth spreads between the public.
