Ryan Kougler’s supernatural horror title Sinners continued waves at the US box office, which offer a strong USD 2.4 million on Memorial Day on Monday. This impressive figure is the largest sixth Monday for the release of any April, showing a 20.5 percent increase from last Monday to last Monday to Friday, despite the significant losses of 886 theaters. Despite the low screen, the flexibility of the film highlights its permanent popularity and the appeal of the stable audience.
In US $ 2.4 million, the sinners also claim the second largest sixth Monday title for an R-remed film. It overtook Openhaimer (USD 900K), Joker (USD 1.3 million), and The Passion of the Christ (USD 1.4 million), which was behind only the sixth Monday behind 4.1 million of Deadpool and Wolverin. However, with a recent decline in theaters, the film’s final box office trajectory is yet to be seen due to the growing competition from an adjacent digital release and new release.
Sinners are written, written and directed by Kougler. Set in 1932 in Mississippi Delta, the film Michael B. Jordan was shown in dual roles as Criminal Twin Brothers Smoke and Stack, who return to their hometown demanding a new beginning, but faces themselves with a mysterious supernatural force.
