Built under the banner of Sun Pictures, Cool today set fire to the box office with its big release. Starring megastar Rajinikanth, the recently released film made an unprecedented debut at the box office. Apart from this, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan and Aamir Khan are specialized, the Tamil film started a Benger across the country except North India.

Initial trends suggest that Calli has seen a bumper opening across India, except for the northern states where the film made a good start. Performed well in Tamil and Telugu regions starring Rajinikanth.
It is a record-breaking opening day for a Tamil film in India. The Telugu version of the action thriller is also exceptionally well performing, with high occupancy rates in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
According to estimates, Cool is expected to gross Rs 28 crore in his home state. Lokesh Kanagarj’s film APTS Circuit earns Rs 17 crore to Rs 19 crore. In Karnataka, the film makes more than Rs 12 crore gross on its early day. In Kerala, the day 1 gross collection will be around Rs 10 crore.
In Hindi markets, Calli has earned Rs 5 crore by competing with Bollywood release, War 2. Coolie has also opened well abroad.

With an estimated opening of Rs 80 crore across India, Cool has become the largest opening day for Rajinikanth. At the age of 75, experienced actor is breaking all records with his on-screen appearance and remains the biggest crowd of Indian cinema.
