Box Office: Paresh Rawal’s hit film The Taj Story adds Rs 1.20 crore in the third weekend compared to De De Pyar De 2, target of Rs 20 crore

It is estimated that crores of rupees will be added to the Taj story. Earned Rs 1.20 crore in its third weekend. 25 lakh on Friday, thereafter Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 55 lakh on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The film held up well against this weekend’s new releases, De De Pyaar De 2 and Kaal Trighori. Paresh Rawal’s film grossed Rs. Earning Rs 18.60 crore at the Indian box office.

Directed by Tushar Amrish Goyal, the courtroom drama has recorded irregular collections in some series, possibly due to the screenings held at certain locations, as the film enjoys political support. Nevertheless, the film has emerged as a surprise hit at the box office with consistently good performances.

One might assume that a film revolving around the Taj Mahal would perform best in the Delhi-UP circuit, but the film has recorded the best performance in the Mumbai circuit. As per current trends, the theater performance of The Taj Story will be around Rs. It is likely to be around. 20 crore nett mark, which is a solid figure for such a small budget film with no star value.
