L2 Empuraan first Malayalam Movie has received Rs 100 crore abroad
Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, L2 Empuraan increased more than Rs 100 crore in international markets alone in his early weekends. With such a magnificent box office trend, the film emerged as the first for the first time to achieve this achievement.
The initial weekend box office cum of Impuran is currently Rs 175 crore. The film will comfortably enter the worldwide club at the box office.
Mohanlal’s milestone proves why he is the biggest crowd in Malayalam cinema
Mohanlal is considered the largest crowd in Malayalam cinema. Superstar has proved repeatedly at his box office. For records, the first Malayalam film of more than Rs 50 crore was Mohanlal -led Dravam (2013). Subsequently, the actor broke a Rs 100 crore club with Pulimurugan in 2016, which was the first to do so.
OG set a direct record in 2019 when his political action drama Lucifer became the first Malayalam film to gross more than Rs 50 crore abroad. And now, with the arrival of the Lucifer sequel in theaters, the actor has hit a century mark in the international markets.
